In June the City of Milnor, ND hosts their annual June Jamboree Day. The event is a summer community celebration consisting of craft sales, outdoor BBQ, community parade, live music and a street dance that continues on late into the night.

Along with the June Jamboree, the city always honors the country's and community's war heroes, fallen soldiers and countrymen on Memorial Day. The community also remembers others from the area that have passed on with a local program, parade and meal.

In September the American Legion hosts a community Chicken BBQ to which all are invited.

The City of Milnor also has a Merchant Appreciation Day.
