Milnor Lutheran Church
Organized June 6, 1885 as Milnor Scandinavian Lutheran Free Church Society. C. G. Seltveit was called as the first Pastor. The first church was built in 1886 for $5,000. The basement was added in 1921 for $3,500. Four parsonages have been owned by the congregation during its history with the present parsonage built in 1959. Two years later, ground breaking ceremonies were held for the present day church building. A fellowship hall that is handicapped accessible was added in 1998. Milnor Lutheran Congregation has enjoyed partnership in the Gospel with Concordia and Immanuel Lutheran Churches for many years. When Concordia closed, many members came to town, others to Immanuel.
Since the closing of DeLamere Lutheran in October 1998, Milnor and Immanuel have been in partnership and are now a 2-point parish.
